# Office Companion Kit

Starter files for *Vibe Coding at the Office* (Book 2), for the Labs that reference `abeburnett.com/vibe-coding`.

For Chapter 2, start with the [office setup route](https://abeburnett.com/vibe-coding/setup/#office-start). Use the tool you have, then follow [the invented memo exercise](templates/hello-check.md). Its save, open, and revise check works with an installed agent or a browser chat tool.

Everything here is synthetic. Every ID is invented (like R-001), every name is invented, emails use the reserved example.com domain, and amounts are rounded and nudged so nothing points at a real person or a real deal. The shapes travel. The data stays, per Chapter 3: nothing here touches your real files, and the Chapter 3 rules still apply to your real work. When in doubt, print the checklist instead of the data.

Style notes: [SQUARE BRACKETS] mark the slots you fill. Most pages are short enough to print, and a table on paper behaves exactly like one in a file. The deck folder holds the HTML deck shell from the Ugly-Deck Rescue Lab.

2. Pick the kit that matches tomorrow's meeting. One kit is enough to make the week different.
3. Replace every [BRACKET] with your own words. The filling-in is half the value: the writing is the thinking.
4. Keep the fake data fake. Your shapes travel; your data stays.
