# The Monday Chase-List Prompt (Chapter 10)

**Use when:** Monday morning, before the meetings start. The tracker from last week becomes a chased list, and Thursday's from-memory chase disappears.

```
Here is the tracker, as of now: [PASTE THE ACTION-ITEM TABLE]
Chase list, in this order:
1. Every action overdue, grouped by owner, one line each: action, owner,
   deadline, what I should ask.
2. Every action due this week, grouped by owner, same shape.
3. Draft the nudge for each line: two sentences, no blame, state the
   deadline and what is needed.
Nothing sends without my review. Do not invent deadlines; if the tracker
has no date, say unknown.
```

## The habit

- Run it Monday morning, review the nudges, and send them yourself.
- The goal is a Monday list that is empty by Friday. If a nudge gets no reply by Thursday, the follow-up is a person question, not a prompt question.
- The tracker is the single home for actions flowing out of the four-part prompt (prompts/four-part-prompt.md) and the meeting-actions tracker (templates/meeting-actions-tracker.md). One home means one chase list.
- Nothing sends without your eyes, every time. The agent drafts the nudge; you own the send.

Verify: the Monday list is empty by Friday, and you can say what each unread action needs from its owner.
