# Kit 8: The Colleague-Test One-Pager

**Use when:** you think the artifact is done and you need proof a stranger can run it.

```
What this does: [Two sentences: what it takes in, what it produces.]
What you need: [Inputs, files, access. Assume nothing.]
Steps:
1. [Open the file.]
2. [Enter the inputs.]
3. [Run it and read the output.]
4. [Check against the expected result below.]
Expected result: [What correct looks like. Include one hand-computed answer as the example.]
Who to ping: [Name] [The ask: "Would you run this and tell me where you got stuck?"]
```

Hand it to someone uninvolved, and time them. Fifteen minutes is the bar. If they cannot reproduce your result, the gap is yours: a missing instruction, a hidden assumption, a step that only makes sense to its author. Fix it, run it again. The finished sheet doubles as the onboarding note for whoever inherits the artifact, because someone will.
